BE AN EAGLE!! (6 PRINCIPLES TO LEARN FROM AN EAGLE)

"at times we need to discomfort ourselves
 while setting higher goals..."
Ken Blanchard once said, "Don't quack like a duck, rather soar like an eagle". There are reasons to crown such a creature as the king among birds.
Eagle, as we all know, is a common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae, it belongs to several groups of genera that are not necessarily closely related to each other. Most of the 60 species of eagles are from Eurasia and Africa. A bald eagle could go as far as 120-160km/h and live as long as 20years while a crowned eagle survived for 14yrs.
A lot of we humans tends to exercise our authority whenever we get an opportunity to flex our muscles but end up messing up a well-set structure we've built with sweat due to lack of leadership principles, we tend to rather go miles impressing the on-lookers while paying less attention to the closer details. In this article, I will try taking your mind of the grid and give you a sneak peek into the life of an animal of enormous quality.

Here are the *6  PRINCIPLES TO LEARN FROM AN EAGLE*
"Don't be Afraid of being Out-numbered,
Eagles fly alone,
while Pigeons flock together..."
  • EAGLES FLY ALONE AND AT AN HIGH ALTITUDE, not with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds.

*MEANING*
Stay away from narrow-minded people, those that bring you down. Eagle flies with Eagles. Keep the good company of positive minds. Never associate with Negatives.

  • EAGLES HAVE AN ACCURATE VISION, they have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km away, no matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.
*MEANING*
Have a vision and remain focused no matter what obstacles and you will succeed.
  • EAGLES DO NOT EAT DEAD THINGS, BUT RATHER FRESH PREY.

*MEANING*
Do not rely on your past success, keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.
"in order to fly,
you have to let go
of the world that you are hanging onto..."
  • EAGLES LOVES THE STORM, when clouds gather, the eagle gets excited, the eagle uses the wind of the storm to lift itself higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagle uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree.
*MEANING*
Face your challenges head on knowing that these will only make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid to rise to greater heights nor freeze in the face of challenges, rather they relish them and use them profitably.
  • EAGLES PREPARE FOR TRAINING, they remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest, they are not over pampered while training for the flight.

*MEANING*
If required, leave your Comfort Zone. There is No Growth there, success belongs only to those who are prepared for it. Try not to miss any event or training and always insist on getting it right.

"The comeback is always stronger than the setback..."
  • THEY KNOW WHEN TO STOP, when his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as it should. This makes him weak and could make him die. So he retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, he plucks out the weak feathers on his body and breaks its beaks and claws against the rocks until he is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then he stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, new beaks, and claws and then he comes out flying higher than before. It affords it extra 20 years or more to live.
*MEANING*
"you can put wings on a pig,
but that doesn't make it an eagle..."
We occasionally need to shed off old habit no matter how difficult, things that burden us or add no value to our lives should be let go. We need to discomfort ourselves while setting higher goals.
So that's it guys, we all have a thing or two learn from the life of an exemplary creature in nature, and instead of backing out of a challenge, why not take it heads on, perhaps they will always try to write your story on your behalf, such is life, but it must go on.
NEVER GIVE UP, BE AN EAGLE!!.

TBPS : LOVE AND VIOLENCE

THE FUTURE OF OUR TOMORROW

If truly we are leaders of tomorrow,  then our problem should be a top priority to them.      "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future",  then that leaves them with being the leader and decision makers of tomorrow. There are countless issues surrounding the growth of the youth of nowadays which am a part of, from negligence on the path of the parents to the ignorance of our leaders, which i stand to be corrected isn't meant for the good of our future.  Just as the popular saying goes,    Most youths are exposed at an early age to problems bigger than their thoughts and are left to decide on issues that could make or break them alone. It would have been a different scenario may be if our environment had been tolerant towards their growth. Nowadays we have a lot of bad vibes around, available to youths of various age group, these go a long way in influencing them negatively and the fact that it has become a norm
