"the significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them, the secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources, imagination is more important than knowledge..." -- Albert Einstein
you aren't what you are because of what you did, but what you think of yourself |
This week on my blog, i have decided to start sharing my personal quotes, which i tagged as 'INNER THOUGHTS'.
This will go on week after week and we get to rub minds on my favorite phrase of the week.
For today my favorite quote of the week is,
"you aren't what you are because of what you did, but what you think of yourself | " |
Many of us are prone to mistakes, i guess that's why we are humans, but the bottom line is that, we have to get use to the fact that we as humans, are mistake-making machine that is bound to make mistakes in other to get it right at times.
Knowing and embracing that might go a long way in making it easy for us to understand our anatomy. For every good, their is a corresponding bad idea, this makes it hard to be able to dissociate among great minds when the cloud hanging over its clarity still looms large.
We all listen to people's idea about us, the talks, critics, and some even go as far as defining us without carrying out a proper profile.
They jump at conclusions, and relate us to others the way they feel based on what they think, which to them is correct, first, you owe yourself no apologies for any mistake you made in the past, instead embrace the curve of your fortune and move on with life with a new resolute mindset.
It is what you think of yourself that matters, even when all doors are closed, it is what you think that matters, even when all hopes are gone, when everybody left, and you are alone with your thoughts, it is who you think you are, that you truly are, it starts with you.
